This Email with the Subject "Security Alert! Update Account Details." was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Sun, 18 Feb 2007 14:12:50 -0800 and has been classified a s a Generic Scam Email. The sender shows as First National Bank <onlineserves@fnb.co.za>.< /p>

The email address was probably spoofed. Do not reply to or contact any persons or organizations referenced in this email, or follow any URLs as you may expose yourself to scammers and, at the very least, you will be added to their email address lists for spam purpos es.

Some customers have been receiving an email claiming to be from FNB advising them to follow a link to what appear to be a FNB web site, where they are prompted to enter their personal Online Banking details. FNB is in no way involved with this email and the web site does not belong to us.

FNB is proud to announce about their new updated secure system. We updated our new SSL servers to give our customers a better, fast and secure online banking service.

Due to the recent update of the servers,
You Need to Update your FNB account to the new FNB server,
For not updating to the new FNB server, your account will be terminated with 24 hours, you are requested to please update your account info at the following link,
