An Email with the Subject "Please confirm your account information within 48 hours to avoid suspension." was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Sat, 29 Jul 2006 08:20:12 -0700 and has been classified as a Phishing, ID Theft Scam Email. The sender shows as "PayPal Dep." <confirm@paypal.com>.
The email address was probably spoofed. Do not reply to or contact any persons or organizations referenced in this email, or follow any URLs as you may expose yourself to scammers and, at the very least, you will be added to their email address lists for spam purposes.
We have reason to believe
that your account was accessed by a third
party. Because protecting the security of your account is our primary
concern, we have limited access to sensitive PayPal account features. We
