This Email with the Subject "Important Security Notification !!! NVSJWDOSVG" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Fri, 16 Jun 2006 21:59:44 -0700 and has been classified a s a Generic Scam Email. The sender shows as "Chartway Federal Credit Union"<security.update@chartway.com>.< /p>

The email address was probably spoofed. Do not reply to or contact any persons or organizations referenced in this email, or follow any URLs as you may expose yourself to scammers and, at the very least, you will be added to their email address lists for spam purpos es.

Dear Chartway Federal Credit Union Customer,

Chartway Federal Credit Union is devoted to keep a safe environment for
its community of consumers and producers. To guarantee the safety of your
account, Chartway Federal Credit Union deploys some of the most advanced
security measures in the world and our anti-fraud units regularly screen the
Chartway Federal Credit Union database for activity. We recently have
discovered that multiple computers have attempted to login into your
Chartway Federal Credit Union Online Banking account, and multiple passwords
failure were presented before the logons. We now require you to re-validate
your account information to us. If this is not completed in 72 hours, we will be
forced to suspend your account indefinitely, as it may have been used for
fraudulent purposes. We thank you for your cooperation in this manner. In order
to confirm your Online Banking records, we may require some specific
information from you.

If you chose to ignore our request, you leave us no choice but to temporary
suspend your account.
