This Email with the Subject "confirmaton of interest" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Sat, 09 Dec 2006 03:01:40 -0800 and has been classified a s a Advance Fee Fraud/419 Scam Email. The sender shows as "anthony bruce" <dr.personals2@hotmail.com>.< /p>

The email address was probably spoofed. Do not reply to or contact any persons or organizations referenced in this email, or follow any URLs as you may expose yourself to scammers and, at the very least, you will be added to their email address lists for spam purpos es.

Let me start by introducing myself. I am Dr .Anthony Bruce smith Chairman, budget and implementation committee on foreign payment and Director, International remittance department of the central bank of Nigeria.
One of our contractor, a private business man executed a contract with the federal government of Nigeria since 2005 with the federal ministry of oil and gas; last mouth, the federal government approved to pay him fifty million ponds (50,000,000.00pds) every quarter, that is, every four mouths until his three hundred and fifty million ponds (350,000,000.00pds) will be paid full but unfortunately, information’s reaching me proved, that he lost his life in Iraq in a sectarian crossfire leaving no one as hair to his funds.
Upon this fact, several Notices were sent to him, another notification was sent and still no response came from him. I conducted a private investigation on him and found out that Mr. Vidal and some of his business partners were killed in crossfire in Iraq. After further investigation, it was also discovered that Mr. Vidal left no next of kin to this funds.
What bothers me most is that according to the laws of my country, if at the end of the financial year this fund is not paid, the funds will revert to the ownership of the Government as unclaimed funds. Against this backdrop, my Suggestion to you is that I will like you as a foreigner to stand as the Next of kin to Mr. Vidal so that you will be able to receive these Funds for both of us.
I want you to know that I have everything planned out so that we shall come out successfully. All that is required is to secure the services of a good attorney that will file in a case on your behalf with the letter of approval to secure the necessary approval and letter of Probate in your favors for the change of ownership certificate of the funds to you.

With reference to the above, this process is 100% risk free as I have set out all the modalities to see that a legalized method is used to secure all the Necessary documents

Please note that utmost secrecy and confidentiality is required at all times during this transaction. Once the funds have been transferred to your nominated bank account, we shall share 50% each and I also want to assure you that any incidental expenses Incurred in the cause of this transaction will be deducted first before sharing.
